WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
ALI FELLOWS
The Summer Leadership Intensive educational programs are designed specifically for young female artists (age 18-24) pursuing an undergraduate degree in the arts (High school graduates and undergraduates only.) These ALI Fellows are chosen from all fields of the fine arts, including (but not limited to) music, dance, theatre, design, film, and any other form of the visual arts. Diversity will be sought for and celebrated - we reserve 10 positions specifically for women of color.

Unique to our 2020 Intensive, we are inviting all women of any age and field to join us as we host our Summer Leadership Intensive virtually!
WHAT IS THE COST?
ALI FELLOWS
We plan to have full-enrollment scholarships for every ALI Fellow in our 2021 year. Each scholarship is valued at $500 and has been secured through donations and hard work of volunteers. To become an ALI Fellow and receive your scholarship for attendance, you will need to fill out the Scholarships section of the application. You will be asked to provide contact information for a recommender and respond to three, short essay questions.

If you are not an ALI Fellow and hoping to join in the 2021 Summer Leadership Intensive - you are invited! For a $15 donation, you will receive access to all keynote speakers, partial workshops and activities. We hope to see you register and join for these inspiring days!

WHAT IS THE ALI FELLOW EXPERIENCE?
If you are selected as a 2021 ALI Fellow, this means you accept a year long fellowship through Women's ALI. You will receive:

Similar to athletes that must exercise a singular focus in order to obtain success, artists apply a focused dedication to develop their craft. The Women’s ALI Summer Leadership Intensive offers an attractive supplement to those hours of committed practice and is designed to help young women learn to navigate the business side of their career effectively.

Whether ALI Fellows intend to run a studio or shop, move into administration, or utilize your artistic talents in another discipline, the skills you acquire at the Intensive will serve you at every career juncture and in daily life!
WHAT IS THE MENTOR ALLIANCE?
Through the Mentor Alliance program, each ALI Fellow will be interviewed by an ALI team member about their current goals and aspirations and then paired with a professional that matches the goals of that Fellow.
ALI Fellows will instigate contact with their mentor prior to the Summer Leadership Intensive to set up one 45 min - 1 hour meeting during the Intensive. They will have the opportunity to ask questions, gain new insight & feedback, showcase their work or portfolio, and most importantly, connect to an entire community, including generations of artists and women.
